You may be aware that the students of Burdwan Model School are going to celebrate the 79th Year of Independence of our beloved nation. Along with this patriotic celebration, we are also proud to present our Annual Exhibition – INSPIRE 2025, which will be held on the 15th, 16th, and 17th of August 2025.

We warmly invite you to be a part of these special days and witness our efforts as we celebrate the sprite of freedom and learning.

Programme Schedule

5. Friday, 15th August 2025

• Students’ Arrival Time: 8:00 AM
• Flag Hoisting Ceremony: 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
• Cultural Programme of Independence Day : 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Students’ Dispersal Time: 1:15 PM
• Inaugural Ceremony of INSPIRE: 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM
• Students’ Presentations: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
  N.B: Refreshments will be provided to all students. They may also carry additional tiffin from home. Only demonstrators and volunteers will stay up to 4:30 P.M. They will be provided lunch & their dispersal timing is 4:30 PM. Transport will be available for those who avail it.

5. Saturday, 16th August 2025

• Participants’ Arrival Time: 9:30 AM

• Inaugural Ceremony: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Student Presentations: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• Participants’ Dispersal Time: 1:30 PM

         N.B: Refreshments will be provided to the demonstrators and volunteers. They may also carry tiffin from home.

5. Sunday, 17th August 2025

• Participants’ Arrival Time: 10:30 AM
• Inaugural Ceremony: 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
• Student Presentations: 12:00 Noon – 4:30 PM
• Participants’ Dispersal Time: 4:30 PM
  N.B: Lunch & Refreshments will be provided for both the demonstrators and volunteers. They may also bring tiffin from home.

• Important Notes

   On 14^th August School will follow its normal timings only for the participants of Inspire’25(Demonstrators & Volunteers). For rest of the students, School will remain suspended. Day- Boarding will follow its normal schedule on 14^th August.

On 16^th & 17^th August the students from Playgroup to Class V (Non-Participants of Inspire’25) will come and disperse with their parents. Transport will be provided to all the participants who avail it.  

• Day Boarding will remain closed from 15th to 18th August 2025 due to the Annual Exhibition and Independence Day celebrations.
• The school will remain closed on Monday, 18th August 2025.

Dear all concerned parent/guardians,

This is to notify all of you that the School Management has been compelled to revise the late fees structure which is mentioned hereunder: -

Date of fees deposit                                                                       Late fee amount

•          1st to 15th day of each month                                                                     = Nil

•          16th day onwards up to the end of this month                                         = Rs.30

•          Next month                                                                                                    = Rs.30 + Rs.100

•          Third month                                                                                                  = Rs.30 + 100 + 100

•          From fourth month onwards                                                                      = Rs.230 + 100

It is also to keep in your kind knowledge that as per our observation very few guardians are not paying the fees within stipulated time rather it has become their regular practice. You may be well aware of the fact that our school is running under the category of self-financing Institution. Therefore, the payments received from the guardians are being disbursed to the concerned members of staff and carrying out other regular expenses.

Hence, all of you are hereby requested to deposit the respective fees of your ward(s) within the scheduled time i.e. within 15th day of every consecutive month.

We regret to convey this notice whereas collecting late fees is not desirable.
